Hi GGC,
Wow! Blogger is really *doggy* tonight ... no offense to Spike! :-) It kicked me out when I was trying to send my comment to this post. I'll try again. (Good thing I "saved" it.)
Hi GGC,
Love the chix salad! Also your wonderful restaurant dinner. I'm with you ... there's so much to fajitas that you don't really need tortillas. We have a favorite Sunday breakfast place and I'll often order one of their delicious "wraps" minus the "wrap" and I don't even miss it! I haven't been brave enough yet to ask if they could make the wrap with a Romaine lettuce leaf. :-)
It's had to believe that you're enjoying your own beautiful tomatoes already! We don't even have blossoms on ours yet. All in due time, right? :-)
Hi CyberSis,
It's funny how before going grain free, the culinary part of our world seemed like it might become a pretty dismal place...and the longer we are away from it...the more we enjoy and embrace it and don't miss the "old way" much at all. You will probably be getting your tomatoes when mine are finishing. I just know that before long they will all turn red at the same time! Right now it's nice to pick a couple. I've picked 3 "regular sized" tomatoes and a couple of grape tomatoes. There are others at various stages of "orangey red". :-)
I like the GGC name.... so I'll use it too. When you say you had a fajitas at a restaurant ... did you have the taco too or just all the goodies on the platter (minus the bread? The photo looks awesome but didn't notice any bread/taco.
Love your recipes and your comments. Thanks for all your work!
Hi Jane,
Actually, last week, I just had the fajitas without any "bread / tortilla". But, last time we went out for fajitas a few months ago...I actually made my own grain-free tortillas and wrapped them in a little baggie and took them with me and I just filled my own! I have done it both ways. :-)
