Greek Style Marinated Grilled Lamb Chops
Today we got up early and took our walk before breakfast -- thank goodness, because it got pretty warm and humid here today with all the sun. It was nice seeing the sun all day long though. We ran our errands this afternoon, including our Costco run. We picked up some lamb chops at Costco (Australian lamb). They have some of the most beautiful lamb chops I have ever seen. Our Costco also had hazelnuts for the first time. I bought a 2-lb bag of them for $10.99. I decided to prepare my Greek Style Marinated Grilled Lamb Chops for dinner since it was such a beautiful day to grill out for a change! My oldest son joined us for dinner. I made salads to go with our lamb chops and also made baked potatoes for my son and hubby to go with their meals. I snapped a few photos of our meal below. The recipe for the marinated lamb chops is embedded in the link above (that link has pictures of the lamb chops before cooking them so you can see how beautiful they truly are). Enjoy!
GG, here is the link for the hazelnut cheesecake, some people use a crockpot to bake it. The cake pan would be surrounded by water, which prevents the top of the cake to crack.
ReplyDeleteI even use the recipe to make little individual crustless cheese cupcakes, which I freeze. I always have cheese cake in the freezer, it is such a treat. As Dr Davis recommends: "have it for breakfast!"

Of course this recipe has to be adjusted,(sugar-Swerve)
Here is what I use, works beautifully !

Thanks for the recipe and pan link, Barbara! One question -- you said you use the small cheesecake pan -- I noticed it has the bottom that you can release the cakes, much like a springform pan -- is there any problem immersing that pan into the water bath -- does any water seep into the cheesecakes? I like the idea of the smaller cheesecakes, but the recipe indicated not using a springform type pan -- I just wondered if that has ever been a problem since you have used it before? Thanks -- the recipe looks great! What do you plan to scatter on the bottom in place of the graham cracker crumbs? :-)
