Sunday's Random Ramblings
Well, today is a little warmer than yesterday -- it's 79 degrees at 3:00 p.m....but what is most noticeable is that the humidity is coming back so it doesn't feel nearly as nice as yesterday...but it is still pretty decent weather -- I'm not complaining. This afternoon we planted 3 cherry tomato plants and 2 basil plants. We put 2 tomato plants in a huge pot on the patio and the 3rd one we planted directly in the ground -- it will be interesting to see which of them does better. My larger tomato plant is still yielding nice tomatoes, but the plant seems to have some type of blight and I fear it may not make it throughout the summer...so I decided to add a few tomato plants and I like cherry tomatoes because they can be used in salads and tossed in pasta dishes as well. I also finally took my new pots and pans that came this week out of their boxes...the hard part will be finding room for them by boxing up and getting rid of the set I have...so it is still a work in progress.
